Kenny Loggins to Play SXSW; and Maybe Billy Gibbons, Too?
5:37AM Tuesday
March 12, 2013

Kenny Loggins has joined the long list of artists slated to play this year's South by Southwest music fest.

According to Billboard.com, the singer will perform both solo and with his new band, Blue Sky Riders, on March 16 at Stubb's in Austin, as part of chef Rachael Ray's Feedback concert and party.  Loggins will first play with his band and then do a half-hour set of his own hits.

The Cringe -- an indie band fronted by Rachael Ray's husband John Cusimano -- will also be playing the event and if history repeats they will be joined by ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, a friend of the family who usually jams with the Cringe at their SXSW gigs.
